Speaking with Fox News on Wednesday morning, Levin said, “We got, kind of a bizarre letter, an email from somebody who says they know who the kidnapper is and that they have tried reaching Savannah’s sister Annie and Savannah’s brother, to no avail.

“And they said they want one Bitcoin sent to a Bitcoin address that we have confirmed is active.

“It’s a real Bitcoin address, and as they put it, time is more than relevant.

“So we have no ida whether this is real or not. But they are making a demand.”

CASE TWIST

Furious delivery driver rages after questioning over Nancy Guthrie disappearance

One Bitcoin is worth around $66,000. The current FBI reward for information leading to an arrest in Nancy’s disappearance is $50,000.

Levin was one of the first people to report receiving ransom notes demanding money for Nancy’s safe return.

Since then, several newsrooms across the country have reported getting similar letters, and investigators have insisted they’re looking into each one.

Savannah Guthrie and her siblings have addressed ransom demands in social media posts, with the Today host insisting at one point, “We will pay.”

But two ᴅᴇᴀᴅlines have pᴀssed with no sign of the elderly mother.

After days of eerie silence, the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance appears to be heating up, as authorities obtained surveillance of a masked and armed intruder outside the mom’s home.

The terrifying individual tampered with the camera near the property’s front door the night she was abducted, and cops are pleading for anyone who can help hone in on an idenтιтy.

Hours after the footage was released, a delivery driver was detained and questioned about Nancy, but he was ultimately released.

The man, Carlos Palazuelos, spoke with reporters at his home in Rio Rico and insisted he was innocent, claiming to have no clue who the Guthries were.

EERIE VIDEO

The eyes of America were scouring the surveillance footage released by investigators and searching for any clues that could lead to an arrest.

Savannah posted the clips on social media and wrote, “Someone out there recognizes this person. We believe she is still out there. Bring her home.”

Top security expert Brian Fitzgibbons with USPA Nationwide Security analyzed the footage and said he was stunned by the intruder’s outfit and body language.

“He is wearing bulky clothing to hide his body shape and thick rubber gloves, a full face mask – this was not a crime of opportunity and was not done in haste,” he told The U.S. Sun.

Fitzgibbons said the slow movement and gun in the intruder’s waistband could prove the individual was prepared for the horrific crime.

“You know, knowingly, on video, not caring just displays a tremendous amount of confidence for this,” he said.

“I would add that to the body language too, like this guy had zero frantic energy, no panic in his movements, like slow, methodical kind of behavior, no panic in his movements.”
