Today has truly been a roller coaster of emotions, but in the midst of the ups and downs, we’ve found so much to be grateful for. Grayson’s battle with this stubborn virus has been incredibly challenging, but your prayers have truly made a difference.

This morning, I woke up with a heavy heart, fearing that we might need to take another trip to the ER. Grayson’s heart rate had spiked, and I was immediately filled with anxiety. It’s so hard to see him struggle, especially when there’s so much uncertainty. But as the day went on, a small miracle unfolded before us. His heart rate lowered, and he began to show signs of improvement. That precious boy, despite everything, began to flash us his beautiful, infectious smiles again. That was such a blessing. It was the first glimpse of hope I’d had all day, and it reminded me of just how strong he is.

Despite some lingering congestion throughout the day, Grayson didn’t need to rely on his Bipap machine as much as he had been, which felt like a huge victory. Every step forward, no matter how small, is one we are celebrating. The fact that he’s managing his breathing a bit better without the machine is a sign of his resilience and progress. It’s moments like these, when you see your child fighting with all their might, that you realize just how powerful the human spirit can be, especially in such challenging circumstances.

Grayson has also started a new antibiotic, and while the journey is far from over, we’re holding onto the hope that this will be the key to bringing him back to full health. I’m praying with all my heart that he continues to improve, and that soon we’ll see more days filled with laughter, smiles, and energy instead of worry, fear, and exhaustion.

There’s still a long road ahead, and we know the battle is not over, but today, we were reminded of how much strength Grayson has, how much love surrounds him, and how powerful the support of this community is. Your prayers, encouragement, and positive energy have truly been a lifeline for us during this time, and I am so deeply thankful for each and every one of you who has sent love and healing thoughts Grayson’s way.

As we continue to care for him and monitor his progress, I ask for your continued prayers. Please pray that his body responds well to the new treatment, that his heart rate stays stable, and that his body continues to heal. Above all, I ask for strength—for Grayson, for our family, and for everyone who has been touched by his story. We know that with each prayer and each act of kindness, we are one step closer to Grayson feeling better.
