Story Overview:
In a mythic age where nature and mankind are at war, Ashitaka, the last prince of a dying tribe, becomes cursed by a demon boar — a mark that will consume him unless he finds its origin. His journey leads him into the heart of a raging conflict between the gods of the forest and the humans of Iron Town, who seek to conquer nature for survival.

There, he meets San, the fierce wolf-raised warrior known as Princess Mononoke — a guardian of the forest, torn between her hatred of humanity and her love for the world she protects. As Ashitaka becomes caught between two sides, he realizes that peace will not come through battle, but through understanding and sacrifice.
