In November 2020, while visiting family in Arizona, tragedy struck pro skateboarder and model Brooklinn Khoury. What began as a joyful trip turned into a nightmare when a relative’s pit bull unexpectedly attacked her. The attack severed her entire upper lip and part of her nose, leaving Brooklinn with life-altering injuries. 💔🐾😢

Doctors, unable to immediately repair the damage, left Brooklinn facing a reflection that was unrecognizable to her. Yet, what could have broken many, only made her stronger. Her spirit, unshaken by the horrific accident, remained resilient as she faced a world that suddenly seemed so different. 💪🌹

Determined to reclaim her life, Brooklinn embarked on an extraordinary journey of recovery. In December 2021, she began reconstructive surgeries, undergoing at least seven procedures so far. Doctors used skin from her arm to rebuild her upper lip and reshape her nose, allowing her to breathe once more and restoring parts of her identity. 🏥🩹✨
